Studio Bookable Spaces:
Huddle Spaces
Phone Rooms are 1-2 person spaces that support impromptu focus work, phone calls, virtual presentations, or 1-on-1 conversations in an enclosed space.
Huddle Rooms are 1-3 person spaces with video conferencing capabilities. These spaces support both meetings where the majority of the team is remote, and smaller face-to-face collaboration in an enclosed space.
Conference Spaces
Small Conference Rooms are 3-5 person meeting rooms that support scheduled face-to-face and virtual collaboration.
Medium Conference Room (Neponset River) is a 10-seat meeting room for scheduled face-to-face and virtual collaboration. If the majority of your team is going to be remote, see if a Small Conference Room or Huddle Space is available.
Large Conference Room (Charles River) is the Boston Studio's largest scheduled conference space, with flexible seating and tables to support multiple meeting configurations and needs. This space will be separated from the Cafe by an operable partition to allow for large-scale gatherings.
Reservable Team Spaces
Team Areas are scheduled collaboration areas. These are spaces for team meetings, collaboration, and creative thinking. Tables seat 10-12 and have AV capabilities. It is semi-enclosed and is not intended for private meetings. This space supports in-person meetings well, while hybrid meetings should be careful to not disturb those working nearby. Pin-up space surrounds these areas.
The Library (Walden Pond) is a place for inspiration, collaboration, and working with material samples. It has a table for 10 with AV capabilities. It is semi-enclosed and is not intended for private meetings. The priority of scheduling this room is given to Product Reps and material review meetings. This space supports in-person meetings well, while hybrid meetings should be careful to not disturb those working nearby. A high-top island is located at the entry to the library and must always be kept clear. The Resource Librarian oversees the Island and the counter/shelves on the AV wall, which are used for product demos and updates.
Project Teams may reserve these Team Spaces for extended periods of time by permission only, review with the Operations Director and Office Manager prior to creating a multi-day booking.
Misc. Spaces
The Informal Room (Mystic River) is a reservable informal meeting space equipped with full audio-visual conference capabilities.
The Cafe provides a variety of seating for informal meetings and touch-down work. The space can also be combined with the Charles River large conference room for all-staff meetings and similarly large social events. Coordinate any reservations of this space with the Office Manager.
The Experimental Space is a large open workplace that can be reconfigured to accommodate a wide range of activities, demonstrations, as well as short-term or long-term projects.
The White Box is a multifunctional meeting space that can transform from a huddle room to an enclosed Virtual Reality studio for both Matterport and Enscape visualization. While the space is equipped with conference room technology, note that it also does not have the typical acoustic ceiling in our other meeting room offerings.
